Steady Hands
Steady Hands
Beginning in the Winter of 2012 as a solo project inspired by Billy Bragg, Bruce Springsteen, Frank Turner, and other classic punk influenced songwriters, Philly musician Sean Huber, baring the pseudonym of Steady Hands, thrashed his way through Philadelphia bars and basements with a sole honest voice and acoustic guitar, breaking a lot of strings and making a lot of friends in the process. The first release came later that year with the EP "Not Many Of Us Left", in which Huber enlisted a group of friends and Philly musicians to join him in the studio and give the project its first taste of full band arrangements. Along with the release of the first EP, he began to tour solo around the country alongside various punk acts, preparing to record the second EP "The Libertines", which was released in February 2013 via Lame-O Records. With the second EP release came the first full band arrangement of Steady Hands, with Will Lindsay, George Legatos, Richie Straub, Jake Ewald, Evan Moorehead, Andrew Kirnan and a rotating cast of other friends joining the mix. The full band continued to tour around the country and pack sweaty basements through 2014 when the third EP "Brandy Of The Damned" was released. Whether Huber is performing solo or with the full band, they have won over crowds and accrued a name for themselves through their live show, fueled by an endless love of life on the road.
